Design as personal attitude of love, peace, light, kindness and way of communicating
Milan Design Week is not only the world’s largest display for product and interior design, but also the most multifaceted. It sets the directions for many years to come and goes beyond the concept of “home furniture”. In essence, it is a spiritualisation of our personal space and goes beyond functionality. Convictions and the inner world become more important ambassadors than brands or fabrics. The most vibrant example of this is the legendary Rossana Orlandi house and her Ro Gallery, named one of the eight most important in the world dedicated to design. The address at Matteo Bandello 16 is iconic for both visitors and artists. The house that former fashion star Rossana bought for her children is today an unconventional gallery including all floors, the basement and the courtyard covered with centuries-old strawberry vines.
