The invention of electric shoes

A pair of shoes turns into small portable power stations

Angelo Casimiro is a 15-year-old boy of Filipino descent. He created his first inventions at the age of four and subsequently began regularly winning robotics competitions in Manila.

His latest invention is electric shoes that work thanks to piezoelectric materials capable of converting pressure into energy. Kazimiro integrated them into the insole and protected the upper layer with foam so that every step taken by the wearer produces electricity without the piezoelectric elements being visible, as if you were wearing ordinary shoes.

During testing, he managed to charge a 400 mAh battery after eight hours of running.
