Bulgarian Post will exchange leva for euros at 2,203 stations across the country
The state’s favorite cash cow, which was about to be turned into grocery stores, will now serve as currency exchange offices.
If you have followed one of our first articles, which discussed the long-standing drain on Bulgarian Post, you will understand the ultimate goal of this exercise — more funds for security companies, video surveillance, cash collection, and safety.

“Our employees are experienced and well known in small towns. We will equip them with banknote and coin counting machines so that they can serve people quickly and efficiently,” said Tsvetelina Stoilkova, Executive Director of Bulgarian Posts, in an interview with BNT.
We totally believe her. Only we have employees who can handle parcels, sausages, and currency at the same time.
