Up has become down, the right and left have changed places, with a changed perspective here and there.
Don’t you think that this is a wonderful metaphor for our people, caught in a confused and incomprehensible world, where traditional notions are distorted, changes are occurring at a dizzying speed, the near and the far are side by side and you necessarily have to interpret them. Because your life and your money may depend on it!
But not like Shakespeare’s hero, who said “…the world is divided – oh share of the damned / to be born to put it in order…” The whole Bulgarian nation does not want to put the world in order – it wants to somehow understand it, so it can survive. He is flooded with events and facts from everywhere, this makes him confused, anxious and suspicious, it seems to him that behind the facts there may be other facts, about which he knows nothing… And then dieterology comes to the rescue!
