We are introducing the euro. Ivancheva has been pardoned. Petrova is free, but Barbutov and Kotsov are not. Municipal Bank cut off the Sofia Municipality. Young doctors are poorly paid. There are no teachers or principals.


Fires are burning, demons are ruling, and the devastating wind of change is bringing sadness, anxiety, and fear. What’s up with this summer?


Again protests, again anger and hopes, and nothing works, while Bulgaria’s old cart rolls along our crappy highways by inertia. At the same time, global rating agencies see only the surface and raise our country’s rating, overlooking internal indicators of widespread structural crisis. State-owned stores, with or without the CAC?
