Propaganda – and how to use it. Part 1.

We’re actually talking about Russia

If you are able to keep a group of people at ninth-grader school level and instead of an academic education, you offer them something else – then you can control society practically forever.

In order to function normally, every society still needs a minimum number of doctors, engineers, chemists, economists, even sociologists, while the aim of an effective propaganda dictatorship must be to minimise unnecessary extraneous knowledge. The aim is to create in-depth specialists in a narrow specialisation, while preventing the same depth being attained in the extraneous areas. To put it more simply: we need good engineers, but without knowledge of sociology; doctors who have not studied economics, linguists who do not understand the meaning of mathematics
, etc. Extraneous needs for knowledge are most often and most effectively filled with patriotism.
