A new setback for the European economy
On the night of Thursday versus Friday last week, on 13 and 14 June, Israel carried out one of the most successful military operations in history. In a single strike, they managed to disable much of the Iranian war machine and decapitate it at the same time, killing leading military and scientists associated with Iran’s nuclear program. All this happened without significantly affecting civilian or industrial targets. This operation will find a place in the military textbooks. As expected, Iran responded the very next day.
We saw residential buildings destroyed on both sides and innocents injured – killed and wounded – and ballistic missiles whistling over two skies, over two capitals, Tehran and Tel Aviv, with airports closed and flights cancelled.
