Trump has set the United States on a new road with an uncertain end
Donald Trump has put Iran, the Middle East, the United States and his own presidency on a fateful threshold by attacking Tehran’s nuclear program, CNN reports.
The US sent B-52 bombers with 15-ton GBU-57 bombs to destroy Iran’s underground nuclear facilities. According to US President Donald Trump, the strikes on Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan were extremely successful and they destroyed the secure nuclear dungeons.
The warm summer night in June 2025 will be remembered as the moment the Middle East changed forever. If Trump’s gamble fails to destroy Iran’s nuclear program – despite his claim to have “destroyed” it with U.S. airstrikes – an often fallible president could lead the United States and the world on a disastrous course. The risk now is that the Iranian regime responds by attacking U.S. forces, targets, or civilians in the region, and the conflict escalates into a new full-scale world war.
“There will be either peace, or there will be tragedy for Iran, far greater than we have witnessed over the last eight days. Remember, there are many targets left,” Trump said in his address.
