Today is March 25 – the 84th day of the year according to the Gregorian calendar. There are 281 days left until the end of the year. The difference between the Gregorian and Julian calendars is known to people who possess historical culture and knowledge. Those who do not have such knowledge, but believe they know our Orthodox culture, associate the date with the Christian feast of “Annunciation”… And for a representative sample of the population who don’t have time for such nonsense, Wednesday is just another tedious day for political gossip. Thursday is more important – it’s the day when the Council of Ministers meets. Bulgarians know this by definition, because they are politically literate. They bear the genes of one of the most intelligent ethnicities in the world, and with Renaissance pathos they appreciate education…
