The process of liberation continues
It is said that the culture of any age is built on two divergent mental streams – of mythologization and demythologization. It is as if man is constantly at war with old myths, only to replace them with new ones… In the attempt to explain the unexplainable, creative fantasy drives Homo Sapiens, combining fiction and reality, to construct stable, symbolically loaded, collective representations. They are not subject to comment, they are not analyzed – they are only repeated and used as a factual argument – from “we will never get better” (everyone knows it), to “all politicians are masqueraders” (everyone repeats it), to “Russia cannot be defeated” (except by everyone, verbalized by the Bulgarian president).
